Hi again! Long time, no see! Managed to complete my female sorceress outfit... This one had a few hiccups along the way. The original design included a metal staff with a glowing crystal ball at the top, but after (literally hours) of searching, I could not find any way to make the model close her hand around the staff... and having the staff "stick" to her palm just looked stupid, so I dropped the idea altogether. I will revisit including the staff if at some point I can find a way to make the models hold objects... likely it will be sold separately as an accessory... and likely will require a custom animation. *sigh* Despite the lack of s

Hello gentle reader, Well, my second outfit for Second Life is completed... and I learned a lot from the experience. As I had stated in my previous entry, I had intended to make this Cloud Ranger outfit for male avatars. However, I encountered so many problems with the male model I decided to switch gears about halfway through. The male wire frame seems to have many more "stretchy" polygons than the female frame... and they are placed in areas that make it awkward to line objects up properly. Dear reader, I have no idea what your expectations are towards reading this journal... I, myself, have no idea what I'm going to write... ;) I guess I'll just chat a bit about what's happening with the stuff I'm working on for Second Life: -First, my Steam Smuggler Outfit series and single pieces have been getting a couple dozen views, but so far only 2 sales.
